On the APEM piezo switches, the action of force on the piezo disk causes an electrical pulse converted by the electronic printed circuit board. The duration depends on the actuating speed and force, as well as on the duration of actuation. The output of the switch is closed for the specified pulse duration (depending on the electrical function chosen)
