Apart from a stainless steel housing, pumps of the MD range are also available with housing parts made of plastic. In combination with components made of Hastelloy C (2.4610) or Titan (3.7035) that come into contact with fluids, these pumps are especially well suited for pumping and dosing chemically aggressive media.

Dry Running Protection Device TSE
The temperature between the rotor and the stator is permanently sensed thermoelectrically via a temperature sensor integrated in the stator and compared with the limit value set at the TSE control unit.
When the pump runs dry, the temperature will rise due to the increased friction between the rotor and the stator. When the set limit value has been reached, the TSE control unit switches off the pump drive and triggers a fault message.
Impeller
Impellers are mounted on the coupling rod for mixing the conveying medium and for media that tend to sedimentation
Overpressure/Low Pressure Protection Device
Diaphragm contact pressure gauge with open measuring flange switches a floating contact when the adjustable permissible pump pressure has been exceeded.
Dosing Device
The dosing device provides for setting the desired number of rotations for determining a specific delivery volume
Lantern Ring Supply Unit
The lantern ring supply unit is used for supplying the shaft sealing with sealing liquid. It can be equipped with a flow meter, if desired. With labyrinth seals, the flow rate can be adjusted and checked.
