At the request of engineers, CIRCOR Aerospace has designed and manufactured an integrated steering actuator incorporating several units into one design.
Aircraft availability and reliability will be greatly improved with this new design, and installation time is significantly reduced. CAI’s new steering actuator design eliminates side load bending of guide rod, bending of potentiometer shaft and potentiometer exposure to harsh environmental conditions.
The CIRCOR Aerospace steering actuator unit has successfully completed qualification testing and flight testing.
