NEW LIQUID TIGHT SNAP-IN MULTI-HOLE CORDGRIPS HOUSE MULTIPLE ELECTRICAL POWER OR CONTROL WIRES AT ONE ENTRY POINT AND REDUCE TIGHTENING ERRORS BY INSTALLERS
Heyco Products, Inc., a leading ISO 9001:2000 US-based designer and manufacturer of wire protection products and electronic components, has announced availability of their new Liquid Tight Snap-In Multi-Hole Cordgrips for a wide range of in-field electrical power and control wiring applications.
Ideal when individual conductors for power or control are used rather than jacketed cable, the Cordgrips house multiple wires at one entry point while providing a liquid tight seal around each wire at the electrical panel.
The Cordgrips are easy to install - no tools or locknuts required. Their secure “click in place” fit reduces tightening errors by installers and the ratchet design of the sealing nut assembly provides superior anti-vibration and ensures a firm grip on the cable.
The Cordgrip’s unique fingers securely lock into panels with a thickness range from .032” to .093”, prevent rotation when used in “Double D” mounting holes, and offer limited intrusion into the combiner box where access is tight. They are also rated IP64 Protection Class (rain tight), constructed of nylon with TPE sealing glands that resist salt water, weak acids, gasoline, alcohol, oil, grease, and common solvents, and come with a foam sealing washer.
