CS – Food Grade  Metering Pump - seepex pumps of module range CS are used primarily in the food, pharmaceutics, cosmetics and chemical industry. The pumps with CIP (Cleaning In Place) and SIP (Sterilisation In Place) capabilities meet the highest requirements for gentle handling, hygiene, cleaning and sterilization and comply with the regulations of the 3-A Sanitary Standards of the USA and the EHEDG directives.

The pumps of the BCSO range are equipped with open aseptic joints that can be cleaned without leaving residues through CIP continuous cleaning. They meet highest demands on hygienic cleanliness and on corrosion and wear resistance. The open fork joint features an especially shaped coupling rod and the rotor or plug-in shaft head. Apart from that, it is made up of only two components – the bolt and the circlip. For higher pressures and conveying capacities, seepex additionally offers a newly developed, open pin joint. Service work can be performed easily and rapidly without the need for special tools. Just like all the pumps of the BCSO range, these joint designs comply with the regulations of the 3A-Sanitary Standards of the USA and the EHEDG directives

Dry Running Protection Device TSE – Food Grade
The general functional principal of the seepex dry running protection devices in food-compatible design is the permanent monitoring of the media flowing around the fork of the vibration limit switch. The fork of the dry running protection device is agitated through natural frequency. Medium flowing through the fork attenuates this natural frequency and thus triggers a signal. If this signal is not extant during pump operation, the pump has run dry and a fault message is issued.
Adjustable Stator Retensioning Device
This device can be used to evenly retighten a worn stator until the original compression fit of the rotor and stator and thus the original pump capacity has been reached again
Impeller
Impellers are mounted on the coupling rod for mixing the conveying medium and for media that tend to sedimentation
Feed Screw
For media, the viscosity and structure of which require a conveying aid before entering the stator, a feed screw is mounted on the coupling rod.
Overpressure Protection Device, Bypass Pipe with Pressure Relief Valve
The overpressure protection device utilizing a bypass pipe with pressure relief valve is used when shutdown of the pump is not desirable from the process engineering point of view.
Dosing Device
The dosing device provides for setting the desired number of rotations for determining a specific delivery volume
Lantern Ring Supply Unit
The lantern ring supply unit is used for supplying the shaft sealing with sealing liquid. It can be equipped with a flow meter, if desired. With labyrinth seals, the flow rate can be adjusted and checked
CIP Connection
The CIP connection makes it possible to supply the suction chamber with a sufficient amount of rinsing fluid for thorough cleaning of the pump. The tangential arrangement of the branch ensures complete draining.
