For this reason, pumps of product group T are equipped with a feed hopper and facilities for safe product feeding. It is successfully used in almost all branches of industry to pump viscous to airtight products

seepex pumps of the BTQ range are identical in length to the pumps of range BN and additionally feature a square feed cross-section and an auger feed screw for enhanced product feed. They are used for pumping medium to highly viscous products with a low degree of flowability.

Dry Running Protection Device TSE
The temperature between the rotor and the stator is permanently sensed thermoelectrically via a temperature sensor integrated in the stator and compared with the limit value set at the TSE control unit.
When the pump runs dry, the temperature will rise due to the increased friction between the rotor and the stator. When the set limit value has been reached, the TSE control unit switches off the pump drive and triggers a fault message
Universal Joint Protection
Made of stainless steel for protecting the universal joint sleeve against mechanical destruction due to ultralarge solids such as plastic, wood, glass and metal parts. When using this type of universal joint protection, seepex grants a warranty of 10,000 operating hours on the joints.
Adjustable Stator Retensioning Device
This device can be used to evenly retighten a worn stator until the original compression fit of the rotor and stator and thus the original pump capacity has been reached again
Overpressure/Low Pressure Protection Device
Diaphragm contact pressure gauge with open measuring flange switches a floating contact when the adjustable permissible pump pressure has been exceeded
Dosing Device
The dosing device provides for setting the desired number of rotations for determining a specific delivery volume
Lantern Ring Supply Unit
The lantern ring supply unit is used for supplying the shaft sealing with sealing liquid. It can be equipped with a flow meter, if desired. With labyrinth seals, the flow rate can be adjusted and checked
Pressure Pipe Adapter
An adapter can be supplied for expanding the pump pressure flange to the larger nominal diameter of the pressure pipe. For connecting a pressure measuring transducer or a diaphragm contact pressure gauge, a DN50 flange has been provided. Lubricant can be injected through the four circumferential screw thread connections.
